Yes, Invisalign attachments can discolor over time, especially for patients who consume dark-colored beverages or foods like coffee, tea, red wine, berries or curry; or are smoking or using tobacco products.

The composite resin material can naturally discolor over time due to wear and exposure to oral conditions. However, it would take much longer for attachments to discolor this way.

If the discoloration is significant, we can remove and replace attachments between refinements.
